Winemaking
Sourced from estate-grown vines, the fruit was handpicked and whole-bunch pressed. Fermentation occurred in French oak barrels (30% new), followed by 10 months of maturation on lees to enhance texture and complexity.
Vintage Report
The 2014 vintage experienced cool spring conditions, leading to lower yields due to inhibited flowering. However, a warm January followed by near-perfect ripening conditions—moderate days and cool nights—resulted in fruit achieving optimal ripeness and flavors at lower sugar levels.
